I am not confident.
I know I am smart, but not in the ways that count.

This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. A linguagem das coisas
Quando inicei a leitura de “A linguagem das coisas” esperava encontrar a história de vários ícones do design: móveis, arquitetura, moda, e como os designer usavam o talento para criar imagens e uma identidade que outros acham atraente.Estava enganada. O livro tem como objetivo provocar o questionamento sobre o nosso eterno desejo de ter mais e mais coisas.
A apresentação de onde termina o design e começa a arte, a ironia ao falar sobre o mundo da moda (que nunca foi arte, mas nunca se esforçou tanto para que ela se pareça com) e sobre o design de luxo, onde o autor Deyan Sudjic fala “O luxo contemporâneo depende da descoberta de novas coisas para torná-las difíceis”. São algumas das ótimas passagens, que nos ajudam a entender a valorização do design e sua característica de tradutor emocional: o design molda a maneira como nos relacionamos, como comemos, como sentamos e como olhamos uns para os outros.
